  流行音樂創作歌手為了凸顯自身的定位,通常只演唱自己的創作,鮮少演唱他人作品,這樣的優點在於創作者會以自身體驗來進行創作,較有不可取代性,例如周杰倫、林俊傑等,但缺點是有時靈感產生瓶頸,特別是面臨交稿時會加深焦慮感,更多的焦慮反而讓創意阻塞,為了解決創作者於靈感上的匱乏,因此筆者嘗試以小組方式教學並引導目前幾位新生代優秀的創作歌手林亭翰、楊影及楊異,刻意以自身感興趣學科為基礎,分別以數學、國文及化學為題材進行詞曲創作,實驗發現,這三位創作歌手分別於一週內創作出以國文為題材的《雅量》,以化學科目為題材的《鋰元素》,以數學為題材的《未知數》。研究結論是:創作歌手如果有自身詞曲創作能力及明確的感興趣的題材,較有可能突破創作瓶頸。

New Generation Singers’ Inspiration and Creation

  Singer-songwriters in the field of popular music usually sing songs that are composed by themselves and they seldom perform other songwriters’ work. The advantage is that singer-songwriters can compose the songs according to their own perceptions and experiences and the songs are relatively irreplaceable, such as Jay Chou and Wayne Lin (JJ Lin). While the disadvantage is that sometimes they hit a plateau with no inspiration when creating a song, especially having the dateline to meet, the anxiety is then increased. Too much anxiety can lead to creative blocks. To find a way out of songwriters’ deficient inspirations, this study applies a group-based learning format and guides three new generation singers, Justin Lin, Wing Yang, and Yi Yang, to complete songwriting by using school subjects they are interested in–mathematics, Mandarin, and chemistry–as a creative foundation. Results found that the three signers complete the work within one week, including the Mandarin-based topic “Magnanimity, ” the chemistry-based topic “Lithium,” and the mathematical-based topic “Unknown.” It is concluded that singer-songwriters who have the songwriting ability and specific preferred topics can have more potentials to break through the bottleneck of creations.
